The Beginner Barista Lab is a two-day, hands-on experience built for curious newcomers, coffee geeks, and anyone who wants to go beyond “just making a cup.” Across 8 hours of guided practice, you’ll get on the machines, taste everything, and learn by doing inside the Broadway Coffee Academy. No lectures. No dry theory. Just proper barista skills delivered in a fun, relaxed environment.
What You’ll Learn
Across two sessions (Part 1 Saturday, Part 2 Sunday, Choose the AM or PM session), you’ll:
- Explore flavours, roast levels, and what really makes a coffee “good”
- Pull your own espresso shots and learn how to fix them
- Steam silky milk and pour your first latte art heart
- Practice simple grinder dial-in techniques
- Learn the basics of roasting with a live mini batch
- Cup and compare coffees like a pro
